Governance & oversight
Four parties are involved in every transaction. Three of them are independent of Arculus.

How the structure works
Arculus does not own the funds or administer them like some other fund managers.
Arculus makes the investment decisions. It does not hold the assets, value them, or sign off on its own mandate compliance. Those roles sit with three independent institutions, each accountable to investors in its own right.
The funds are monitored for mandate compliance by the external responsible entity, trustee or wholesale investor. The administrator daily values the portfolios and calculates the performance outcomes independently of us.
There are 4 eyes on every transaction: Custody – Administration – Investment Management and the Responsible Entity.
The four roles
Investment Manager — Arculus Funds Management
Sets strategy, selects securities and manages the portfolio within the mandate. Reports to the Investment Committee.
Meet the teamResponsible Entity — DDH Graham
Holds the AFSL under which the funds are operated, holds scheme property on trust for investors, monitors mandate compliance and is responsible for the funds' regulatory obligations and audited annual reporting. The RE's duty is to investors, not to Arculus.
ddhgraham.auAdministrator — SS&C
Values the portfolio and calculates performance daily, independently of the investment manager. Maintains the unit register and processes applications and redemptions.
ssctech.comCustodian — Northern Trust
Holds the securities on behalf of the funds. Assets are never held by Arculus.

Investment Committee
Portfolio decisions are made within a framework set and reviewed by the Investment Committee: Renny Ellis, Michael Saba and Andrew McQueen. The committee brings more than 100 years of combined fixed income, broking and institutional investment experience.
